About the Author

Waleed Khamies is an applied machine learning scientist with a deep passion for exploring the realm of semantic representations in multimodal data. With a strong background in research and engineering, Waleed has gained invaluable experience as a research engineer intern at Mila and a research associate intern at Brown University’s Robotics Lab.

Holding a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences/Machine Learning from AMMI and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UofK, Waleed is recognized for his expertise in reinforcement learning and the development of cutting-edge deep learning models for robotics applications. His work has been published in reputable workshops.
